All tutors are paid $16 USD per hour for time spent in a session with students, or time spent providing writing feedback. The $16/hour rate is applied to the exact number of minutes accumulated during a given week.
Tutors are paid weekly via PayPal. The pay period ends on Sunday at 11:59 PM (PT). Payments are sent by the following Friday. Federal holidays may delay the payment by a day or two. Here are the federal bank holidays in the US:
