If you enter the lesson space and you realize early on that your tutor can't help you, they should void the session. It's rare that this will happen, but sometimes a problem can be more complicated than it first appears. If the tutor has not been able to help you, ask them to void the session so you are not charged for any tutoring time.
If you enter the lesson space and realize the student’s request is more complicated or difficult than you expected, you can void the session. While we strive to make sure the tutor-student matching process is as seamless as possible, we know that every now and then we’ll get a match that isn’t perfect. If you realize that you’re unequipped to help the student, be honest!
Voiding the session will ensure that the student is not charged for the time, and will allow them to connect with a different tutor.
